Dear donors,
Although the delivery and installation of the rainwater harvesting system has not been easy, we can congratulate each other on our success and announce that the project has been completed.
We would like to say: “Big THANK YOU ”, from Smile for Africa Foundation`s team, the Greenfield Kids Foundation`s team and especially from the children who no longer have to carry water from the forest.
Mr. Robert Akampurira – Director of Greenfield Kids Foundation says:
“The water system you donated to us is helping us in many ways, no more going down the hill to get water from the river which you visited. Now the kids who are staying at school can wash hands before eating, wash clothes, and also get enough water for bathing, also no more lack of water for the cooks, the tanks we have, before water is finished between that time we have to receive rain which can fill them all again, good enough we have enough roofing which can help us get enough water to fill all the tanks.”
