This winter, hundreds of Palestinian children who were facing not only freezing temperatures but also the destruction caused by ongoing attacks received vital support through YECED’s Winter Clothes Support in Palestine project. Prolonged conflict, damaged shelters, and limited access to basic needs continue to affect children both physically and emotionally. In these conditions, cold weather is not just a seasonal discomfort—it becomes a serious threat to health, safety, and the right to life.
In response to this urgent situation, YECED prepared winter clothing kits containing a wool scarf, beanie, gloves, a lined raincoat, and winter shoes. With the help of our local teams on the ground, these kits were delivered to the children most in need. These items not only provided protection from the cold, but also carried a powerful message of compassion, solidarity, and hope.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our donors who contributed to this circle of kindness. Thanks to your support, hundreds of children had a safer and warmer winter. However, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is ongoing, and many essential needs of children still remain unmet. Every coat, every pair of shoes is a message of hope and care that reminds a child they are not alone.
