We’re thrilled to bring you the latest updates on our Women Empowerment project in Villa Ojo de Agua, Santiago del Estero. Thanks to your unwavering support, we’ve had an incredible few months, marked by growth, learning, and new opportunities for the remarkable women in our program.
After the winter break in July, we resumed activities at our headquarters in Villa Ojo de Agua with renewed energy. We’ve continued to hold our popular amigurumi workshops twice a week, where participants immerse themselves in crafting and learning. These sessions, held over two three-hour days, have become a space of creativity, connection, and empowerment. Additionally, once a month, we offer intensive workshops focused on other productive skills, which have attracted over 25 women heads of households from Villa Ojo de Agua.
On October 5th, we had the honor of being invited again to participate in the Women Entrepreneurs Fair organized by Asociación Civil Mujeres 2000. One of our program’s entrepreneurs traveled to Buenos Aires to represent the group and showcase their handmade products. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and the sales were fantastic, highlighting the value and quality of their work.
Later in October, on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th, we joined forces with Asociación Civil Mujeres 2000 to offer an Entrepreneurship Management workshop tailored specifically for our program participants. More than 25 women attended this intensive training, gaining valuable skills in financial management, marketing, and online sales to help strengthen and grow their businesses.
As the year winds down, we will continue our activities through the first days of December before taking a well-deserved summer break for the holidays. None of these achievements would have been possible without the support and generosity of donors like you. Your contributions are making a tangible difference, helping build a community of skilled, confident women entrepreneurs.
Thank you for being a vital part of this journey. Together, we are shaping a brighter, more empowered future for these incredible women!
