Spring has arrived here in the United States where I live, and just as the season brings new life, your generosity is bringing fresh beginnings to communities in need.

That means, in Africa, clean water is flowing, lives are transforming, and hope is rising—all because of you. You’re going to love what we’re sharing this month—stories that prove your generosity is changing lives. Let’s dive in!

Update from the Field

We recently visited Kaluwa Village in the Mangochi District, where we were able to see firsthand the challenges this community faces. With 89 households relying on a hand-dug well 1.5 kilometers away (almost a mile), the current water source is often contaminated with plastic, dirt, and debris. See photo below.

To make matters worse, snakes have been found at the well, creating a serious risk for those fetching water. After assessing the situation, it’s clear that Kaluwa urgently needs a proper water well to ensure access to safe and clean drinking water.

While rain has delayed the drilling of our first 10 WWFA wells of this year, we're excited to report that mobilization has began two weeks ago and we have started drilling. Thank you for making this progress possible!

Transforming Lives Through Sanitation

Thanks to our WWFA Blossom Project, Mphatso School now has modern hygiene rooms, additional toilets, and improved sanitation facilities.

This transformation has already led to a surge in school enrollment, dropping absenteeism, and providing students with the resources they need to stay in school and succeed.

Check out the school's transformation in photos and stories, and see how your support continues to change lives. Visit this page on our website.

WWFA in the News!

Our founder, Kurt Dahlin, recently sat down with California Insider to share his incredible journey of turning a chance discovery into a decades-long mission to bring clean water to forgotten villages.

This is our "staff pick" for Kurt's best interview ever: Watch the interview here!!

As I share all this good news, I'm reminded of the power of community and the incredible change that happens when we come together. Your continued support is transforming lives and giving families the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you for being a vital part of this journey, helping us bring clean water, health, and hope to those who need it most. Together, we’re making a world of difference, one well at a time.

Water is life,
Brittany
