Thank you very much for your support to our project youth-led heatwave disaster relief and recovery. Heat wave occurs in a cyclical manner and every 3 years or so. We need to manage this problem as they happen by helping our youth and their families improve their living conditions by growing food. We are doing this by the provision of productive inputs such as seeds, seedlings, organic fertilizer and small farming tools. This reporting period we are able to assist 50 youth and their families. We also provide technical assistance on how to grow their food. The limiting factor in this project is the availability of quality planting materials and we provide this support by establishing and managing a production farm.
