Starting them young
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative training youth on regenerative agriculture and the production of home-grown food. Food is becoming scarce as weather patterns become unpredictable and there is a need to increase our effort to engage youth in farming activities. We are happy to report that we have expanded this initiative to 2 more villages as support from our donors are increasing. We also enjoy local assistance especially in technical matters and we are very happy about this. We face the new year with hope and inspiration. This reporting period we are able to assist 120 young people with their home farming activities and we hope to increase the number as we continue to implement this project. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre

Carbon credit initiative
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our initiative advocating permaculture and agro-reforestation for 800 youth. Our farmers are old already with average of 75 years old and there is a need to engage the youth to become passionate about farming. We need farming because of food security issues and the impending problem of famine and we need the youth to help in this goal. This reporting period we are embarking on an ambitious project of carbon credit and carbon offset by targeting more than 200 hectares for tree growing and agro-reforestation and then engaging the youth to implement the process. This is ambitious but with the help of local experts, we think that we can do this. We target end of this year to have already dialogue with prospective partners and helpers. Your help is very much needed so we achieve our goal. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre

Promoting high-valued crops
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative youth-led permaculture promotion and targeting 800 youth and more. We are happy to report that we were able to generate funding support from a local organization in order to expand and promote our initiative. This reporting period we focus our attention to the growing and multiplication of high-valued tree crops like mulberry, mango and durian. These crops command high price in the market and young farmers are encouraged to plant and propagate them. In the past there is some problems that we face when we try to promote timber trees because farmers commented that they have to wait long period of time in order to get some benefits, that is the reason why we shifted to the growing of crops that provide immediate benefits like fruits this time. Hoping that we will be successful in this new venture. Again, thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Chrisitian Sayre
