Recreational and recreational activities

By the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, the challenge was now to maintain our hybrid model with the intermittent absences of all students and teachers due to COVID Omnicron infections. All the students and teachers as well as the administrative staff got our two doses of vaccines. However, when the winter season arrives, 80% of those who make up Con Nosotros have been infected by COVID Omnicron. Therefore, it was very difficult to maintain consistency in face-to-face classes, turning some weeks into 100% virtual. The important thing is the mutual support that we all receive, which reminds us that we are always in a community in which children can appreciate along the way, the importance of sustaining goals as a team.

It is a good time to share with you that as a firm purpose in the face of the crisis of the pandemic, in our school a slogan was privileged: No one is left without studying and No one is left without work. This has meant a monumental financial effort for our donors, which we will always be grateful for.

On the other hand, in January 2022, one of our founders decided to orient her path differently. Roy who lives with neuromotor disability as a condition of life, grew up in Con Nosotros was a student of Con Nosotros, now at 30 years of age, together with his mother, they began a business adventure. Congratulations on your retirement dear Leader! Much success in your projects!

Also in January we launched the call for the Volunteer Program. University students who have done social service or professional practices, state that their learning is integral and their experience infects their friends. They made the suggestion to open the doors to other people in the school as volunteers. To date, two people will start a semester of volunteering, coinciding with the school year. Welcome!

The students of Psychology of La Salle University held a Socio-Emotional Workshop with the students of Con Nosotros. As the University gave the instruction that professional practices should be virtual, it was interesting for the children to realize that even in their school they could learn remotely or virtually with other teachers. The Virtual Network becomes infinite and is presented as a mystery in the minds of children.

The continuity of the school year invites us to hold celebrations for the festive seasons. The Day of the Dead, where allusive costumes were a challenge to the imagination in November. The Christmas holidays were a pretext to emphasize the work of crafts exercising fine motor skills by making piñatas and Christmas decorations. Of course, we made the traditional Christmas inn at school and a greeting card for all our friends.

Valentine's Day, allows us to touch on the theme of friendship and companionship. Our students enjoy living together in school, feeling more autonomous, learning. Just as every childhood requires, they grow up surrounded by their peers in ages and opportunities. This is the best gift we can offer. Thank you for thinking differently, for thinking Con Nosotros!

Return to face-to-face classes

The changes continue

During the closing of the school year in June of this year, one of our dear students finished elementary school. The family decided to take him to start his high school in an inclusive school. We are proud to know that our student will face challenges that we know will show great achievements. We extend recognition to his parents for the support they have always shown as a family. We include in this report a link to the final work that our student presented and the video that his teachers sent for his graduation online.

Start of the 2021 and 2021 school year

The school year began with the hybrid format, that is, some students attend school and others take their face-to-face classes. Two multigrade groups were formed that allow for a more efficient work role in this combination of face-to-face and virtual. Conductive Education routines and exercises are carried out at school, so the time came when families brought back to the facilities the equipment and furniture that was loaned to facilitate CE routines at home.

All School personnel have been vaccinated against COVID 19, families have also entered the vaccination scheme. Students over 18 years of age are covering their vaccination schedule and some other students have sought the vaccine at a time when government institutions have called for vaccination for people with disabilities. A health filter was structured and an infographic has been released with all the actions that are necessary for us to continue with the care required by the COVID 19 epidemic.

Thus, the School of Conducted Education continues. With academic programs following the school calendar, civic festivities have been held in September to remember the value of our independence as a nation, in October to commemorate the importance of multiculturalism. We try that the integration to the new routines benefit the mood of the students. Because as humans, those who come face-to-face feel happy and afraid. Those who stay virtual would like to go out.

As part of the linking activities we have prepared a series of conferences in the format of a virtual Forum on FB Live as part of the activities resulting from our participation in the State Council for Disability Care coordinated by the Government of the State of Morelos.

In the new adaptation process in which we can discover the enormous advantages of any system that we have at hand, because the most important thing is the Will to learn and to give meaning to life, to achieve happiness.

This was mentioned by the students when talking about their rights in a video that they prepared to broadcast on World Cerebral Palsy Day. The students in the foreground, that in the way that we consider most pertinent to be able to make our postulates as a school a reality regarding social inclusion. STRENGTHENING THE WILL AT CON NOSOTROS SCHOOL

Consistency is the key to achieving meaningful achievements. In this school year in which the vast majority of students in the world have taken virtual classes, the same perseverance has become a greater challenge, seeing ourselves deprived of what we were used to.

This report relates the continuity process from January to June 2021 and closes a school year at the School of Conducted Education of Con Nosotros. Here we will narrate how perseverance brought us all achievements that are worth sharing.

Our students, who are children living with cerebral palsy as a condition, have learned to use technology to communicate and do their school work.

In this school year, the students were accompanied by their families and we used technology to continue with their movement-enabling routines in virtual programs. These virtual programs of Conducted Education were designed and directed by the teachers of the school via remote control and the family members became the facilitators of this exercise to strengthen the movement. Children are growing and require each time a different and more complex support, due to its novelty. It is a success to have avoided extreme sedentarization by abandoning the progress made in recent years. It is a success to finish a school year in which you can refer to academic progress.

It is worth highlighting the great collaborative work carried out by the Con Nosotros team during Little by Little's fundraising campaign in March 2021. The activities that we carry out in the school were screened all week on Facebook live, inviting people to donate in GlobalGiving platform. Thank you very much for your donations.

In April the Secretary of Public Education authorized the partial opening of schools for the last school term: April, May and June. Following this parameter, the academic team designed a hybrid program in which face-to-face and virtual activities would be carried out. The students were divided into two groups. The face-to-face activities were planned as recreational activities and are carried out once a week: group A comes on Monday, preschool and primary school students; Group B attends on Tuesday, high school students. Only five students make up these groups since, as it is an optional activity, not all took this opportunity. The aim of this one-day-a-week school activity is to promote and improve the attitude and mood of the school members.

We all want your presence, greeting and joint work. We install a sanitary filter and all students are accompanied by a family member, as the activities include swimming and yoga. The team of teachers is also small, and it was agreed that it should be only fifty percent. We have all enjoyed it immensely!

This playful day includes an activity for families, either for coexistence or workshops for learning some techniques to facilitate the inclusion of their infants in the activities of daily life. This strengthens the integration and participation achieved virtually. It's fantastic!

In addition to these face-to-face recreational activities, the following days of the week continue with the academic programs virtually at home. There are only three weeks left until the end of the school year and we are preparing the primary graduation of a student who has been in school since childhood. And a little student finishes his cycle in preschool. Life is satisfying when constancy is motivated by will.

I would call the School of Conducted Education the School of the Will in motion. Thanks to the efforts of teachers, students, administrators, volunteers, advisors. Thanks to all of your solidarity donors. Thank you for thinking differently, for thinking Con Nosotros!
