The NDF Pakistan initiative on GlobalGiving aims to provide free and quality rehabilitation services to children with Down Syndrome across Sindh. The project supports physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, special education, psychological support, and parental counseling.
The campaign seeks global community support to improve the quality of life for these children and ensure their inclusion in society.
Challenges Faced
Limited funding for assistive devices and special education tools
Rising demand from underserved areas like Nawabshah & Larkana
Need for solar backup due to power issues affecting therapy schedules
Next Steps
Expand outreach in rural areas through mobile therapy vans
Translate therapy content into local languages
Organize a Disability Youth Conference for awareness and inclusion
Launch the “Sponsor a Child with Down Syndrome” initiative on GlobalGiving
