TOGETHER WE CAN ACADEMY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS
FIRST QUARTER REPORT
We finished 2019 first quarter with 75 young people who study in the evening school and 10 adults, over 30 years old, who study in the night school. Students are on vacation for a week and June 10 starts the second quarter. We already have new registered students to start in the second quarter. We continue to grow and help the youth and adults of the neighborhood to get their education.
WHAT DO OUR GRADUATES DO?
There are companies that support us as Trade Alliance Corp. and this year they have hired several of our graduates to work in their offices and stores. We will always be grateful. We also recognize the University of the Americas that always offers scholarships for our graduates.
FEEDING
Thanks to your contribution to this project thru GlobalGiving, all our students receive a daily hot meal. For many of them, it is their only meal of the day.
In 2018 we met our fundraising goal for the feeding program. Now, for 2019, we still need to collect $7,000 to keep the dining hall running. Help us to promote JUNTOS PODEMOS and to achieve our goal.
