It’s a parent’s dream to be able to provide for their child; to raise them healthy and happy with all the opportunities in the world ahead of them. As a parent when your child is aged for early childhood education, you don’t forget to send four children to school and you don’t expect and even think your child grow without education let alone homeless and sleeping on the street helplessly
In Ethiopia you can expect the opposite: Across Ethiopia, there are thousands of children living on the streets who every day suffer hunger, violence, poverty, and abuse, A month ago these beautiful Ethiopia children pictured here, among this group who have been lived on the street helplessly and homeless, Currently these children a, pictured here, is among 21 vulnerable children reached out by MHO and start a new life away from the streets in this reporting parried by providing them with the food, medicine, clothing, and hygiene, shelter a safe and caring family environment.
There are many reasons why children are forced to live on the streets - they may have been affected by HIV/AIDS, extreme poverty, family breakdown, poor economic conditions, family unemployment, and social crises In the capital, Addis Ababa this crisis is severe with MHO, only one NGOs/ providing support Day drop center and full-time street children.in Parallel
For example, the total number of children in this program who have been supported with the support of special kind individuals like you and generous foundations like Corteva in this program is 114. Out of the total number of the children, 21 are new and recently away from the streets and already started new life including attending their education at KG and primary schools in this reporting parried. Of total o Out of the total number of the children 12 children beneficiaries who are affected by gender-based valances have got psychological support from health professionals. . .Currently, all the children at MHO are in good health and live in a safe and caring family environment. Without your support these children could have been, rapped, trafficked, or abused
