Your donation in this quarter through our pioneering Educate Ethiopia Children One Pack for One Child programs only not  addressed  children's basic  nutrition  food, and nutrition needs, but  also, your kind support    expand learning opportunities and minimize learning differences through provided tutoring programs

Despite the benefits of early childhood education, in Ethiopia minimal intervention in this critical stage of education. Denial of early childhood education main concern In Ethiopia, In Ethiopia prior early learning, has not yet managed to reach the most disadvantaged children, many of whom remain out of school Besides the lack of qualified and well-trained teachers in preschool, and imbalanced staff-child ratios; improper healthcare and hygiene are some of the challenges that early childhood education .and lack the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities Children who are the most disadvantaged and affected by this challenge. Your donation alleviates some of this burden

  MHO Children beneficiaries, pictured here, are among children who are currently sheltered in the MHO rehabilitation center in Addis Ababa and have benefitted from the activities and programs offered by the project.  The tutoring programs provided not only expand learning opportunities and minimize learning differences but also create a safe environment in which these children can confidently and enthusiastically develop the necessary academic skill sets. Before being taken out of the street by MHO, these children had been on the street in unsafe environments without adequate nutrition, and opportunities to learn and socialize. Generally suffer from poor health and nutrition, no early learning educational opportunities, developmental delays, and inadequate social and emotional support At MHO these children received the necessary support they need to reach their full potential.  

Moreover, in this reporting period, your kind MHO helped children in conflict-affected areas in, Amhara, continue their education in temporary learning centers. Recently, MHO distributed educational materials to more than 180 students, living in shelters in Amhara. The program provided psychosocial support to children so that recover from trauma and continue their education. This is only possible because of the support of special individuals and foundations that provide the funds to reach out to these children

In the meantime, as pictured below, different vegetables and grains already harvested with the kind support of GlobalGiving born fruit have been collected from the farm and the land will be prepared for the next round of harvesting season

On the other hand, to address the looming drought in the south, MHO has opened a new office in Konso which is 700 km away from Addis Ababa to reach out affected community

In Ethiopia, September is not only is time for students to go to school but also a critical time for that poor families differently faced challenges to full fill Educational materials and school supplies.  Because poor families are not able to pay school fees & provide the necessary and nutritious food and educational materials such as books, and school uniforms, (notebooks, pens, chalk, etc ) for their children. As a result, many children from disadvantaged and poor communities are out of school in Ethiopia. According to a recent study, about 1.03 million children of official school age were not in primary education. This situation is even worsened by a recent double crisis In Ethiopia: War, inter-communal conflict, and displacement.  As result, Ethiopia's Education is currently in crisis. It is estimated that close to 3 million boys and girls across in war-affected regions have missed out on learning opportunities

Your donation  through our pioneering Educate Ethiopia Children One Pack for One Child programs address children's unique needs, giving them early childhood education opportunity children and ensuring their continued education by providing educational material supplies including, clothing, medical services, feeding service (school meal), and counseling and socialization service and enable highly vulnerable children's attend their school without any problem

In this reporting period by your donation new 100 children were provided with educational material supplies including, clothing, medical services, feeding service (school meals), counseling and socialization services, and enabling highly vulnerable children's attend their school without any problem. This is only possible because of the support of special individuals and foundations who provide the funds to reach out to these children The distribution of Educational materials continues during the month of September to reach out to more needy children. Besides MHO are on the ground alongside poor children in rural children whatever it takes to ensure to ensure every child has access to education by providing them with necessary educational materials and supplies. This  is only possible because of the support of special individuals and foundations who provide the funds to reach out to these children

Further to this with the kind support of GlobalGiving MHO are currently on the ground alongside IDP Children and Families providing them with the necessary and nutritious food and educational materials so that students in the conflict-affected areas back to school.

Alongside MHO also on the farm   and promoting alternative food production address immediate needs in the aftermath of displacement and specifically their food, nutrition and  feed our affected comminute and including current children and poor women beneficiaries sheltered in our different MHO rehabilitation centers in a sustainable way

  In line with this currently with the Kind support of GlobalGiving and its partner's Generous corporate and individual donors, MHO is engaged in gardening and harvesting, vegetables and nutritious food while promoting alternative food production on 21 thousand lands to address immediate needs in the aftermath of displacement feed our affected comminute and including current children and poor women beneficiaries sheltered in our different MHO rehabilitation center in a sustainable way. As the picture below, we can say that MHO harvest and plantation already born fruit and will produce the food desired for our affected communities
