Wildlife Warrior Update

By Zululand Conservation Trust | Non-profit organization

Ranger boots on the ground
Ranger boots on the ground

A big thank you to all the donors that have contributed to the "Support our Wildlife Warriors" campaign. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, staff welfare is one of the most important things and we are grateful that we can ensure this for our rangers with your help.

Due to your donations, we were able to pay the annual fee for the life insurance that protects our rangers and their families financially in the event of death or injury. Furthermore, we were able to purchase 15 pairs of strong leather boots that our rangers wear out on patrol in the wild bush. Having the correct uniform and equipment allows our team to carry out their dutites to the best of their ability.

Our Anti-Poaching Unit continue to protect the endagered speices on our reserve through patrols, sky surveillance and camping out in out posts. These brave men are out in the bush for long periods of time making sure the animals in our care are safe from poachers.

Every donation helps us to achieve our goal in supporting these brave men and women on the frontline of conservation - if you would like to support our wildlife warriors, please donate towards our efforts.
