The goal of our project is to support 500 patients with rare diseases in Romania, providing them with the support to face their daily challenges through face to face and online medical consultation, therapies, counseling and psychological support for patients and families at NoRo Center and NoRo Center online services: www.centrulnoro.ro.
Since October we have provided online training courses on case management for rare diseases for community nurses in order to bridge the gaps between medical and social services and orient patients to the services they need.
During project implementation we have organized online and face to face counseling and therapies for 60 children with different rare diseases and for 10 young people with rare disabilities we provided training courses for life skills abilities.
With the amount that we raised we could offer online case management sessions for 54 patients with rare diseases.
