Steady progress in the rains

By Bernie Jones | Project leader

Some water is back, but no cattle
Some water is back, but no cattle
Dear Friends,

It continues to be a slow period for fundraising on this project, but the school continues helping the children learn as best they can. In the last quarter, we've been unable to provide much financial support to the school.

The tough times in Simanjiro continue, although the rains did finally come. It was too late for lots of the cattle, and to save the lives of the livestock, many people moved away (including the children whose traditional "job" it is to look after the cows). We hope after the rains things will get better again.

We'd be so grateful if you're able to share this project and the situation that our communities in Simanjiro find themselves with your friends, so that we are able to support them during this difficult time.

Best regards
