" l am so excited for the opportunity given me to go through,counselling,mentoring and the skill training,. I am a much better person. I now dress my choir with my hand made brooches for a fee." I am also teaching two girls in the choir on how to make fascinators.This is just one of the success stories. We will keep sharing it with you because You made this happen.
We have reached 30 teen moms so far in Aperidi in the Eastern region of Ghana,where the prevalence of teenage pregnancy is very high.
The rates of adolescent pregnancies are high in Ghana, according to the United Nations. Of the total births registered in the country in 2014,30% were by adolescent. The plight of the teen mom leads to other problems such as child prostitution, abandonment and school dropout.
Although the rate is alarming we will reach out to most of them through your support and make a positive impact in their lives
