Thanks to your support, 20 refugee and migrant children from different countries continue to receive language support and to successfully integrate in Bulgaria.
In recent months, the children have continued to increase their level of proficiency in Bulgarian. This helps them not only to understand the learning content of the various subjects, but also enables them to actively participate in school life. All children in our program successfully completed the first semester.
In addition to the language program, in order to increase their knowledge of Bulgarian culture and traditions, we are organizing thematic workshops. At the end of February, we held a martenitsi workshop, during which for the first time they made martenitsi for their relatives and friends, learned who Baba Marta, Pijo and Penda are, why we give each other martenitsi, and how long we wear them.
