Also this year the time has come to kiss goodbye to our older kids who’ll be returning to their boarding school after their summer holidays in June. This year almost half of our children are in high school and, while two of them just started pre-school, some of them are already thinking about University.
They make us proud every day. They study hard even during summer vacations, and the “grownups” help the little kids with the subjects their struggling with. Together they’re building the way for a brighter future for themselves and their community.
In Tanzania, no more than 25% of young people are enrolled in secondary school and less than 4% go to university. We believe that the opportunity to achieve quality education is the biggest gift we can give to our children because it gives them the chance to change their life.
That’s why we are proud that our kids are committed to their studies and are achieving amazing results. One of the older ones has achieved the best result of his year in science and Kiswahili and the school gave him a reward in front of all the school! We are so proud!
All of this is possible only thanks to you our dear friends. It’s your support that gives them this opportunity. Thanks to you we can cover all the expenses that the school requires and can continue to give to our kids a safe and loving environment in which they can grow and learn.
