Dear HOPE Friends,
Cooked Food and Food Rations Delivered to 420 Villagers in Rural Region in Sindh, Pakistan
20% of the general population in Pakistan faces hunger on a daily basis. Pakistan has twice the rate of malnourished people than other countries worldwide . In order to bring relief to thousands who suffer from lack of nutrition and the health consequences that ensue, HOPE has been regularly providing outreach to families with both cooked food and Food Rations for several years.
Our Food Rations project is a beloved donor-initiated idea in which the most financially distraught families in our areas of operation regularly receive Food Rations to help alleviate their dire conditions. Due to the overwhelming generosity of our donors, we have been able scale this project to include dozens of families more than originally anticipated.
The pictures shared are of our most recent distribution of both cooked food and Food Rations in Thatta (a rural area outside of Karachi) in which a total of 300 individuals were given biryani and 120 villagers were provided with food rations to last them one month.
Many thanks to our supporters for joining hands with us to help end hunger .
Warm regards,
The HOPE USA, HOPE UK, and HOPE Pakistan Teams
