When we launched this campaign a little over a year ago, we had no idea of the challenges that people around the world were about to face as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. 2020 was an extremely difficult year for so many. However, because of your generosity and desire to help families in need, we at Pelita Indonesia have been able to give the gift of access to clean water to many families in greatest need. So far, with the funds raised through this campaign we have provided ceramic water filters to 373 families, providing safe and free drinking water to over 1,500 people!
Many of the families that you helped lost so much in 2020; loss of family members, loss of jobs, loss of homes, and the loss of many other things we take for granted every day. But because of your generosity, there are now 373 families that no longer have the added stress of having to spend precious resources to either boil or buy all of their drinking water.
We want to sincerely thank you for your kindness and generosity expressed by sponsoring water filters for families in need of safe drinking water. We are so grateful for each of you. You are a blessing to us, and an even greater blessing to the many families in West Java, Indonesia that have received the gift of safe drinking water from you!
We are now more than two thirds of the way to completing our goal in this campaign and there are still many families in need of water filters in West Java. We are so grateful for any and all gifts, and every donation helps us continue our work here. If you are able to donate again or share our campaign with others, we would be so incredibly grateful!
