Dear Supporters,
We collaborate with several local partner organizations, including schools, a relief settlement, and vocational schools. Our goal is to empower individuals, particularly students, to create a new future for themselves by increasing access to quality education through scholarships for all ages. In line with SDG4, we aim to increase the number of children in school and improve education.
Over the past few years, our school has been supported by an amazing charity in the UK and supplemented by our supporters on GlobalGiving. With both sources of income over the past six years, we have funded the education of over 700 children, including funding teaching salaries, textbooks, stationery, and school meals. On average, it costs us around $15,000 a month to run our school, and we fundraise around $2,000 locally.
However, we’ve noticed a slowdown in donations recently. Your contributions are vital to the success of our project and the support we can provide to these children. We are going to need to up our game or cut back our school.
We’d like to draw your attention to a special day - Giving Tuesday, which falls on November 28th. It’s the most substantial day of the year for donations. Excitingly, GlobalGiving will match every new donation made on Giving Tuesday, amplifying the impact of your contribution on our cause and enabling us to continue our work for another year.
