Layton and Moses are grade 5 pupils who live in Chideza Village of Eastern Province. Their Village is not connected to the grid and their small thatched house had no light for them to study at night.
Layton and Moses attended one of our community engagement meetings and reached out to us that they needed solar light for them to study at night.
Our team gifted the two boys a solar lantern and they were thankful for the gifrt.
Today, Layton and Moses are grateful for this gift and in their own words said.. " Zikomo kuli bantu bonse banapeleka tandizo kuti tipezo pindu pa ka liti aka".. (Thanks so very much to everyone who donated so that this light can reach us)
To all our donors we say thank you so much for making it possible for us to reach people like Moses and Layton and for helping us to get closer to our goal of reaching 6,000 households with solar lights.
