At the heart of the city of Al-Bab, Al-Farabi Hospital stands as a critical lifeline for mothers seeking safe and free medical care. Recently, the dedicated medical team here experienced an extraordinary day, welcoming 17 newborns – through both natural and cesarean births – within just 24 hours.
This remarkable achievement is not an isolated event, but part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality care, even under immense pressure. From the beginning of this month, the team has been working tirelessly to ensure every mother and newborn receives the compassionate support they need.
But Al-Farabi's impact extends beyond maternity care. The hospital also offers a full range of essential medical services, including laboratory diagnostics, X-ray imaging, and free medication through its pharmacy. In addition, it provides specialized care for infants and newborns, with a dedicated pediatric unit and around-the-clock emergency ambulance services to meet urgent medical needs.
