During this period, different actions were carried out with girls, boys and young people on issues of sexual and reproductive health and menstruation:
At the community of Chichihuistán, Teopisca, Chiapas, the training cycle was implemented with students from 1st to 3rd. from high school. The cycle consists of three workshops aimed at young people, separating women and men, facilitating them simultaneously, this to generate an environment of trust and allow them to openly express their doubts and concerns. The women's group is facilitated by Teresa Moshan (Tsotsil speaker) with the support of a German volunteer Julia Maucher with topics such as: I know my body, menstruation part 1 and 2 lasting one day each; In the men's group, facilitated by Mariano De la Torre (Tsotsil speaker) and Marisol Vega, the subtopic of “adolescence” was addressed with a duration of two days.
A total of 6 workshops were facilitated at the rural telesecundaria school 1510 “Miguel Álvarez del Toro” with a total attendance of 23 participants: 65.2% were women; and 34.8%, men.
We continue in the same community of Chichihuistán with the training cycle adapted for girls and boys from 3rd to 6th grade of primary school, with the topic of sexual health and menstruation, with the participation of a total of 20 boys and girls, the girls through the training, make ecological feminine towels.
Sexual and reproductive health workshops were also held with the subtopic “menstruation”: with teachers and parent committees. from the Ignacio Allende Y Unzaga Primary School in the community of Bachen. There were 6 male participants, including teachers and parents, in attendance. All participants stated that the workshop was very useful to them.
This type of training cycles will continue in the different rural schools of communities with which we work in the Altos de Chiapas area, Mexico.

En este período se llevaron a cabo diferentes acciones con niñas, niños y jóvenes en temas de salud sexual y reproductiva y menstruación:
Se Implementó el ciclo formativo dirigido a alumnos de 1º. A 3º. de secundaria, de la comunidad de Chichihuistán, Teopisca, Chiapas. El ciclo consta de tres talleres dirigidos a jóvenes, separando mujeres y hombres, facilitándolos de manera simultánea, esto para generar un ambiente de confianza y permitir que expresen de manera abierta sus dudas e inquietudes. El grupo de mujeres lo facilita Teresa Moshan (hablante tsotsil) con apoyo de la voluntaria alemana Julia Maucher con temas como: conozco mi cuerpo, menstruación parte 1 y 2 con una duración de un día cada uno; en el grupo de hombres lo facilita Mariano De la Torre (hablante tsotsil) y Marisol Vega, se abordó el subtema de “la adolescencia” con una duración de dos días.
Se Facilitaron en total 6 talleres en la escuela rural telesecundaria 1510 “Miguel Álvarez del Toro” con una asistencia total de 23 participantes: el 65.2% fueron mujeres; y 34.8%, hombres.
Continuamos en la misma comunidad de Chichihuistán con el ciclo formativo adaptado para niñas y niños de tercero a sexto de primaria con el tema salud sexual y menstruación, con la participación de un total de 20 niños y niñas, las niñas a través de la capacitación, elaboraros sus toallas femeninas ecológicas.
Se llevaron también a cabo talleres de salud sexual y reproductiva con subtema “la menstruación”: con docentes y comités de padres de familia. de la Escuela Primaria Ignacio Allende Y Unzaga de la comunidad de Bachen. Asistieron 6 participantes hombres entre docentes y padres de familia, Todos los participantes manifestaron que les fue de mucha utilidad el taller.
Este tipo de ciclos formativos se continuarán en las diferentes escuelas rurales de comunidades con las que trabajamos en la zona de los Altos de Chiapas, México.
Gracias por apoyar nuestra labor, con estas acciones apoyamos a que las niñas y jóvenes eviten la deserción escolar.
