Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing food, water and latrines to those affected by Typhoon Vinta. Our area of focus are municipalities in the province of Zamboanga del Norte which were hardest hit by the typhoon. This reporting period, we were able to construct 25 latrines using low-cost materials such as bamboo and coconut lumber for the upper structure. Our septic tank is made out of iron and cement and using a steel mould designed for the tank. We are happy to announce that other organizations are starting to take interest in our approach and design and they have visited us to learn more how we are doing it. We expect more visitors to come visit us in the next months. Thanks also to GlobalGiving for providing us funds in order to implement this important project. Aside from construction, we also provide orientation to the beneficiaries on how to use and manage the latrines so that they last long.

Again thank you very much for your generosity.

Very sincerely yours,

Cesario
