We're now ready to plant Jaguars!!!
Thanks to all who have supported oir project we are now ready to start planting Jaguars, how can this be done? We'll do it planting all the trees and plants that jaguar's pray likes. Due to deforestation streams are going dry, lots of small animals are disappearing and thus jaguars are finding it very difficult to get food and water.
This is why we have been collecting and exchanging seeds of those trees and plants that are now scare and that used to feed the ñeque, guartinaja, guacharaca and other important animals for Jaguar alimentation.
We already started the Reserve nursery so we have aour own supply of trees of the specific species we need and a lot of people is coming to help us planting and this has been an opportunity for doing a lot of environmental education and having a positive impact on our community's pactices and thinking.
We also are very near to receiving the government recognition as part of the National Protected Areas, this means that no matter what happens to us, the Reserve will continue struggling to offer a save place to Jaguars.

Learning with indigenous kids about native plants
Thanks to you and many others, 36ha are now under our protection!!! We will henceforth work to ensure a proper place to welcome the jaguar population threatened with human non harmonic practices.
We have already started to improve its ecosystem services by means of 10.000 native trees we are currently producing. These plants will help us recover the fauna associated and in this way offer jaguars the food they are needing and is every day harder to find due to deforestation.
Additionally, we are guiding neighboring indigenous and farmer communities in settling their own plant nurseries to enrich their forests and fight detriment of their territory ecosystems, and in this way assure an even bigger area available for resettlement of original fauna.
In this new phase of the project we will invest all your donations on Adopt a Tree programs and we hope you will enjoy seeing your trees growing and feeding Tropical Dry forest fauna!!!
