We are super excited to share the progress and expansion of the project with you not forgetting to thank you our donors for your generous continuous giving.
Our women are filled with joy to see the goats' project progression. Jane is concience that the way the project is expanding, she says it's time for her to say bye to poverty and be able to provide a good future for her children. When the project was started in 2022, we were only able to give out 5 goats, and last year, we gave out 9 goats, making a total of 14 goats given to 14 women from different families.
Currently, we have 23 goats, showing an increase by 9 goats, them being female and an indication of them increasing. Three of the goats gave birth to health kids. For the project's sustainability plan, we were able to give more 4 women goats from the multiplication. The project has been able to impact 18 women, and We hope to distribute more goats to the women in order to see women's lives change and that of their families. However, we lost four goats due to the lack of food and too much heat, which made water too scarce in the community and dried up the grass.
As an organization, we envision a world where women are economically empowered and able to take care of their families, most especially providing education to their children and ending poverty in balawoli Village.
