We are proud to say that we have already been able to receive six families, with children experiencing different life-threatening diseases who certainly require palliative care. Cristopher, Maximiliano, Mari and Anais have been welcomed (with their families) in the last months in our hospice, the first of South America, and they have received all the love, caring, health and psychological support needed.
Unlike the others, who have been cancer patients, Anais has a chronic disease that causes her a lot of pain, which has been well managed by our nurses and technical team. She has also received therapy with dogs and art therapy, which she enjoys very much. Last week was her 18th birthday and she had the best time of her life with hotdogs, her brothers and dogas as very special guests.
