Happy Meals for Poor Children and their Families

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our initiative providing happy meals to poor children. In previous reports our effort was geared towards the provision of meal support comprising nutritious food. This reporting period and onwards we changed tactics and instead of providing directly meals for children we aim to improve their food sources by vegetable gardening activities and root crop production. In so doing food supply is continuous and fresh direct from their farms. This effort will also provide initiative and passion for our beneficiaries to care and help themselves. We were able to provide for vegetable seeds and root crop planting materials to 120 beneficiaries during this time and we hope to increase this number as we continue our work. Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing happy meals for poor children and their families. This reporting period we shifted our effort to providing families with farming inputs like vegetable seeds and organic fertilizer so that they are able to start their small livelihood projects. Providing direct meals as we are doing in previous effort is important but we think that providing small inputs and then training beneficiaries to implement their small farming enterprise will provide long-term benefits. This reporting period we provided 150 beneficiaries with farming inputs. We will provide technical assistance as they implement their activities. Again, thank you very much.
