Happy Meals for Poor Children and their Families

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kindness and generosity supporting our work with vulnerable children here. Food is always scarce for poor farming families with dwindling harvest with poor soil and increasingly unpredictable climate. We are finding ways to be resourceful in providing food as our resources is also limited and during this reporting period, we try to access surplus food from local farms as well as food from sources outside our project areas. We are happy and thankful that we were able to link-up with an organization based in Manila who provided us with 100 boxes of meal packs. We added to these fruits available in the farm and distribute these food to 70 children and their families. Hoping for your continuing support.

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for supporting our project providing happy meals to children and their families. Most often children of poor families here seldom experience eating delicious food and be content only with some dried fish or salted fish and some vegetables that sometimes are bland to the taste, without the benefit of spices and condiments which are also expensive. This reporting period we selected some families and provided them with a treat to a favorite restaurant. This is especially during birthday celebrations of children. Feedback shows that these experience remain among children for a long time so we are very happy about this. During this period, we are able to assist 5 birthday celebrants and treat them to a sumptuous meal.
