Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative happy meals for poor children and their families. This reporting period we are able to provide vegetable seeds and organic fertilizer to 75 families in order for them to produce their own food comprising vegetables, legumes and root crops. In this manner the provision of meals will be a continuing activity and instead of receiving food aid the families will learn to grow the crops themselves in a sustainable manner. We were able to support 65 families in this manner and we hope to continue and expand this initiative to additional families and villages around our main office. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances

Promoting sweet potato
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing generosity in supporting our initiative providing meals to children and their families. The problem caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has made our work extra difficult and during this reporting period we focus on assisting local children whom we can reach easily by reason that they are near our work station. We focus our effort to promote local food as delicacies and important for their diet. Sometimes local food such as sweet potato is looked down as inferior to food that are processed and sold in grocery stores. Sweet potato can be made into sweet potato chips, jams and candies and this is indeed very healthy food for the children. We are starting to promote this particular approach in one village here and hoping that we are able to expand with your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances

Feeding children
Dear Friend,
Greetings and we are sorry for the delayed report in this project. The Coronavirus pandemic has made us very busy with activities while the challenge of mobility with frequent community quarantines and lock-downs is imposed by local authorities. The need to provide food to very poor children and their families assumes great significance with the scarcity of food not only on the short-term but also in the coming months too because of paucity in economic activities. Many small businesses have closed and chances of re-opening is difficult for some. This reporting period we provided food packs to 75 children and their families and mostly within the vicinity of our work area. We hope to continue to provide for them and many other children in the coming months as the brunt of the pandemic is with us and the search for cure still in the far distant. Hoping for your kind and continuing support.
Very sincerely yours.
Michelle Frances
