The goal of our project is to support 500 patients with rare diseases in Romania, providing them with the support to face their daily challenges through face to face and online medical consultation, therapies, counseling and psychological support for patients and families at NoRo Center and NoRo Center online services: www.centrulnoro.ro.
We have continued to provided online training courses on case management for rare diseases for community nurses in 2 new counties (10 nurses) in order to bridge the gaps between medical and social services and orient patients to the services they need.
With the amount that we raised we could offer support for 5 patients. 5 families have been supported by the interdisciplinary team and have been offered psychologycal and social counseling and coaching to change.
We have been nominated by the County Council for a medal at the end of the year, which was given to 7 persons from our county that contributed over the years at the promotion of our region.
