Hello, sponsor. I'm Lee Soyeon from U9 Change. I went to Pasai Cemetery Village in the Philippines last week
I also had a meeting with Jessica, a local coordinator in the Philippines, I found a Filipino partner with her.
With local coordinator Jessica, I visited a clinic located near the village of Pasay Cemetery and met a clinic doctor. I asked the hospital to allow the medicine to be stored in the medical warehouse so that village children can prescribe it for free when they are sick.
Fortunately, the doctor accepted it and delivered multivitamins, anthelmintics, cold medicine, masks, and mosquito repellents.
Through the above cooperation, we can safely deliver high-performance medicines to children in the Philippine cemetery village when purchasing them in Korea. Also, in the future, Jessica, the local coordinator, will be able to help the cemetery village children stop by the hospital and get free medicine if they get sick. It was a business trip that made a warehouse where the medical kit purchased with the donation you sent could be safely delivered to the Philippines.
Children in cemetery villages are exposed to abdominal pain and skin diseases. When you enter the cemetery village, there are many dog poop and cockroach carcasses. People living in cemetery villages take a shower with rusty well water. We will prepare a project so that children can live in a better place in an environment exposed to the disease.
Please support the children's healthy growth.
Thank you.
