Dear Friends.

Thank you for your donations and support.

With your support and cooperation , SHD has managed to raise $22,059 to help the needy students. Through these donations SHD has been reaching out to needy students and supporting them to contine their education.

During the last quarter, 30 needy children from St. Peters School Toba Tek Singh have been supported. Mr Ayub (Executive Secretary SHD) Along with his team, distributed free books to the newly enrolled students and also among the students who were not able to pay their fee and get new books.

The new term will be started in March and SHD will motivate poor families of Toba Tek Singh to enroll their students to the school. Newly enrolled students will be suported by books, stationary, notebooks, fee assistance and transportation. The scholarships and the support has made the students optimistic about their education. They are happy to come to school.

One of the student Nayab is newly enrolled to St. Peters School, she left her education because of poor economic situation of her family. Now with the help of SHD, she has started getting education again. Her parents are farmers and are very happy for her.

SHD has also managed to get the donations from other sources apart from GlobalGiving.

We are still waiting for the Government clearence to reactivate our bank account.We have submitted the application and hopefully it will be cleared in the coming days/ Until then, we have to wait to get the money and to restart the activities properly.

Many students have found new hope for continuing their education through this project. We would like to request all our donors to keep supporting
