June 2010 Update for the Safer World Fund

By Joyce Manchester | Project Manager

Thanks to the 247 Safer World Fund donors who have helped girls in Afghanistan go to school, women in Afghanistan learn new skills, people in the earthquake regions of Pakistan receive much-needed medical care, and much more. More than 3500 additional donors made contributions to individual funds within the Safer World Fund. The matching funds are gone for now, but those dollars are now just where we want them -- helping the children and adults of Afghanistan and Pakistan obtain education, health care, and opportunities to live their lives with dignity. What a terrific investment!
