Dear donors, please meet Artem, a 14-year-old boy with disabilities. Since the start of the war, their home city - which is a port city on the Dnieper River in southern Ukraine - has been under occupation. Seeing occupying armed forces and military equipment and hearing explosions affected the boy’s mental state a lot. As a result, he and his mum, Tetiana, had to leave their home to seek refuge in a safer area in Ukraine.
Tetiana’s only wish is for Artem to find himself and be accepted by society. She is doing her best to help her son, but as a single parent of a child with disabilities trying to survive during war, Tetiana doesn’t have the means to afford Artem the treatment he needs regularly.
Thanks to your generous support, our organisation paid for physical rehabilitation treatments for five children with disabilities. The total amount of help provided is USD 4912. We cannot thank you enough for giving Artem and other children in dire need like him a chance to receive treatments and live a more fulfilling life with less pain.
Warm regards,
Natalie Blinder
