Dear friends, we are happy to provide an update on how your donation has helped Ukrainian children with disabilities.
The war has pushed millions of people into extreme poverty, and children with disabilities are among those impacted the most. For families raising children with disabilities, the plunge below the poverty line means they cannot afford the physical treatment required regularly for their children.
This project has given Ukrainian children with disabilities the chance to get healthier, stronger, and live with less pain. We are happy to report that this time, we helped six children with disabilities - Marko, Rostik, Bogdan, Nelia, Milana, and Dmytro - attend physical rehabilitation treatments. The total worth of the treatments is UAH 104235 (USD 3563).
All the children we support have been through a lot. Marco had lost his father due to the war; some children were forced to leave their homes in conflict zones to seek safety in other parts of Ukraine. Their lives were by no means easy even before the war, but now the families have been struggling to have their basic needs met since the war started. Without your help, the families would have had to delay treatments for their children, which would have worsened their health conditions.
On behalf of the families and children we help, we want to thank you for all the kindness and support you have shown our children during this challenging time.
Warm wishes,
Natalie Blinder
