The WAFA team sincerely hopes that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during this time of pandemic. In these unprecedented times, it has been hard to do business as usual!
As a team of passionately committed professionals, we have focussed on building our inner strength. Since WAFA is a virtual organization with a global presence and volunteer staff, we have taken the opportunity to connect, map out strategic goals, and create long term objectives and tasks. We are currently developing the execution plan to make WAFA, the "Academy Awards" of sustainability. We are also striving to deepen relationships with supporters and well wishers like you. All this hard work will prepare our team to celebrate and promote our silent heroes in better times.
Before the pandemic, the WAFA team was working with British and European sustainability leaders to celebrate global youth's efforts to move their communities towards sustainable development. Because of COVID-19, plans have been postponed till late 2021. Funds already raised for the Youth Climate Award will still support the purposes mentioned in the fundraiser: award prizes, management software, and celebrations.
