Providing training and support to 48 teachers

Annual Report – Enseña por Panamá 2024

Impact on Teachers and Students

  • 48 teachers were trained and supported in 44 public schools.
  • 25 new teachers joined the 2024-2025 program.
  • 23 teachers graduated and joined the Alumni movement of Enseña por Panamá and Teach For All.
  • 4,804 students were impacted in 2024, an increase from 2023.

Impact Stories

  • "Allies in Emotional Intelligence" project in Chiriquí, led by José Gómez, helped students improve organization and family support through parent engagement sessions.

Alumni Movement

  • National Alumni Gathering: More than 35 professionals participated in a Veraguas event featuring workshops on AI, educational partnerships, and networking.
  • Latido Latino 2024 in Uruguay: 300 alumni from 12 countries discussed educational innovation, public policies, and climate change. Five Panamanians actively participated.

Educational Partnerships

  • Ministry of Social Development, CAF, and UNICEF: Development of guides for early childhood education and quality standards for initial education.
  • DHL and Teach For All: The "Go Teach" program strengthened young students’ workplace skills.
  • EY Central America: Environmental Hackathon with 34 students and 46 volunteers, creating sustainability projects.
