This week we donated 3 new ceiling fans to the public school on Utila, and installed the first one.
As the economy here has stabilized and food insecurity is not a big issue currently, we've shifted focus to other projects focused on island improvements, including fire equipment (clearing customs soon), and new microscopes for the Whale Shark and Oceanic Research Center that have just been received.
We intend on launching a fundraising campaign in the near future to help obtain more computers for the public school on Utila, and am open to other suggestions from you, our donors and supporters, to help bring additional improvements to the island and for public benefit for all living on Utila.
